**Associative Property of Addition**

Assume that a, b, and c are real numbers, the **Associative Property of Addition** states that the sum of a and b added to c has the same value as adding a to the sum of b and c. That means, the manner on how we group three or more numbers does not in any way affect or change their sum.

This addition property can be summarized in equation form as \left( a+b \right) +c=a+\left( b+c \right) .
