Commutative Property of Addition

Suppose a and b belong to the set of Real Numbers, the Commutative Property of Addition states that the sum of a and b, expressed as a+b, is the same as the sum of b and a, expressed as b+a. In other words, the order in which we add numbers does not affect or change their sum.

We can write this as a+b=b+a.
